We’re hiring
Digital Art Director, New York
Sullivan is seeking an experienced Art Director to join our growing digital team. As a communications strategy and design firm with 20 marketing and creative professionals, we offer a hands-on environment where you can get involved at every stage of a digital project. As a B2B magazine top agency of the year and an Inc. 5000 company, we can also offer experience working with high-profile financial services and non-profit clients.
Who you are
You have a minimum of 5+ years of experience designing in the digital space, and understand the limitations and possibilities of designing for the Web or other online media. You balance highly creative and conceptual thinking with sensitivity to user experience and usability. You are detail-oriented, and have a deep understanding of typography, color, composition, page structure, and interaction design. Complex displays of information such as financial dashboards interest you, and you have experience simplifying interfaces while keeping them engaging and interactive. Your written and verbal skills are excellent.
What you do
You lead the design direction for internal and external digital client projects, partnering with information architects, senior level marketers, and writers. When a project begins, you engage with both the users and the content, intent on not just translating a visual system, but using design to create a compelling story about a product or organization. You present your work to clients, and feel very comfortable speaking to senior-level professionals. You report directly to the Executive Creative Director.
