Trailblazing is in our DNA

Women have come a long way in 80 years. When my mom graduated from business school in 1942, she received an offer for a full-time role at what is now a Fortune 500 company, but they quickly revoked it and told her, “We don’t hire married women.” Thanks to women like my mom, today more than 30% of businesses are owned by women—and we are proud to be one of them.

I founded Sullivan with the promise that men and women would truly be equal with the same opportunities to advance their careers. Every day, our incredible employees continue to make my vision a reality. We empower talent, promote from within, offer paid parental leave, and have majority female leadership.

This Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating how far we’ve come by elevating our women of consequence.

“When I started at Sullivan, I immediately felt like part of the team. When I offered up new processes and ways of working, it was embraced and met with excitement rather than resistance to change. I’m so proud of how far our team has come and how well we all work together.”
Jessica Diamond, Senior Producer

“A few months into working at Sullivan, I had a one-on-one video call with a senior leader where he thanked me for my work. He said he was impressed by my ability to speak my mind. I’ve always been quiet, so that was a huge shock. I think it’s a testament to our collaborative culture.”
Cathryn Dodge, Associate Copywriter

“My team members encouraged me to bring some of my personal talents into our project and helped me reignite an old passion in the process.”
J.P. Phillippe, Associate Copywriter

Sullivan is an independent, WBENC-certified woman-owned business.
